Elliott Gray is a boutique Canberra-based recruitment consultancy, focused on delivering the very best talent to clients across Canberra and the region. Founded by Alex Elliott and Elsa Gray-Murphy, Elliott Gray offers a range of recruitment services: simple marketing and advertising advice, providing candidate shortlists, and providing a tailored end-to- end recruitment solution. Ultimately, we like to help connect candidates to clients (and to have fun doing it!)

Having started out in a small agency with a candidate-centric consulting approach and then moving to large agency recruitment, we became disillusioned with the transactional approach of most major recruiters. We started Elliott Gray to bring the consulting care back to recruitment. We wanted to move away from the transactional approach and return to the old-school approach: building strong relationships and creating long-lasting matches.

We are not concerned with quotas and KPIs, and will never push a match if we don’t truly believe it to be the right one for both client and candidate. As a result, we have built and maintained a large network of candidates and employers who can trust us to put their needs first and facilitate the perfect match.

We work closely with clients to ensure we fully understand their business, organisational culture and specific workforce goals, and then use our industry leading expertise to find the ideal candidates to meet those needs. We maintain open and frank lines of communication with clients and candidates at all times, and are committed to ensuring the right candidate-employer fit.
