We are presenting an impressive opportunity to leverage technical backgrounds in the pursuit of improvement to the work health and safety of millions of Australians. 

Who are you?
You are a scientific policy officer with sound analytical and problem-solving skills while holding high level of verbal and written communication. You are comfortable working in dynamic and high-profile environments with the ability to be responsive in changing priorities.

Ideally, you will come from a technical background which you can leverage to provide technical advice and expertise in specific areas of policy. You must hold an Australian citizenship and be eligible to obtain a baseline security clearance if not already held.

Some things you will be doing!
Your writing ability will be highly utilized in the formulation, drafting and review of policies, ensuring they remain aligned with strategic objectives, as well as well as assisting in the preparation of papers, reports, briefs and guidance. Your ability to conduct research on and provide advice in specific areas will prove invaluable to the team, while your internal and external stakeholder engagement skills should leave a positive impression of the work area.
