As a senior policy analyst with The Treasury you will be working in the section focused on implementing recommendations from the Financial Services Royal Commission and developing policy related to the Australian Financial Services Licencing framework.
What does that look like?
Working with autonomy you will have direct access to stakeholders across the legal industry - you will have both voice and influence.
Provide technical policy development advice, research and develop legislation focused on regulatory reform.
What are we looking for?
Grounded and mature-minded go-getters who see a problem as an opportunity to fix something and not a road block.
Ideally a lawyer from a large law firm seeking knowledge and experience at the heart of regulatory powers and accountability, or perhaps a consulting from a Big4 or similar with experience working in a financial services practice.
