The right person? Let me explain.

Flexible in your approach. Critical. This is a rapidly scaling business in a fast-moving sector – the processes are likely to change along the way, the initial ideas might fail. How you react and deal with it is the secret to your success. Fail fast, be bold enough to try. The good news is you will be in the driver’s seat when it comes to setting the strategy and executing!

You get the tech. You might not know it all right now, but you are able to quickly grasp the technical concepts to understand the product suite you will be selling. Cyber security gets you excited!

Build through doing. You will be happy to work across the entire sales vertical – not just developing the business but managing the sales administration involved. That means CRM database management, reporting and tracking, proposal development and management, negotiating and delivery. Initially you will own this all – until you can build the team around you.

Start-up experience would be great! Having previous hands-on experience seeing sales mature while scaling-up will prepare you for the ride ahead. Set yourself on the path to Head of Sales or Chief Revenue Officer!
