This is your opportunity to join a busy locally-owned construction company with a stellar reputation, located in Deakin. A maternity leave cover contract for 12 months, this role is established with smart processes and systems (Micropay) and is ready for an exceptional payroll officer to jump in take control!
Flexibility is on offer (4 or 5 days per week) along with a salary of $70,000 - $80,000 plus super.
What will you be doing?
Payroll of course! Responsible for paying a workforce of over 200 people, ensuring complete compliance with relevant legislation, the EBA, awards and other industrial instruments.
What are we looking for?
Experience is key in this one:
- Strong background in end-to-end payroll processing, managing the payroll functionality of a similar sized organisation.
- Demonstrated experience and ability interpreting complex awards and / or enterprise agreements.
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of current legislation.
- Experience using Micropay is preferred, but if you have another system and are a quick learner don't count yourself out!
