Elliott Gray are extremely excited to be announcing another brand-new partnership, this time, joining forces with United fasteners located in Fyshwick, ACT. This is a family-owned company that has over 250 employees nationally with outlets across the country in numerous locations. They specialise in a comprehensive range of products, including fasteners & fixings, cutting tools, sealants, and many more industrial associated products. Now that they have established themselves in Canberra, we are looking for their next leader to coach, inspire and support the team!
  
This leads us to now being on the lookout for you as their next Branch Manager. As the Branch manager you will be reporting directly into head office on the performance of the ACT store. This will be through general and financial reports but also encompassing the management and supervision of your team. Understandably, we are looking for someone with an understanding of sales and management, to ensure that your team are meeting their targets. Your team? The team is made up of three sales representatives with great knowledge on the United fasteners products, the rest of the team will be based in the office and warehouse. So, you will need a strong business operations mind set to lead the company forward into a profitable future. The best aspect to this role is that you will have full autonomy and the ability to take ownership like you are running your own business.

For this role, you will need enthusiasm and the motivation ‘that no task is to big or small’. The team will see you as a figure of authority who they can rely on to lead by example. A background in the industrial distribution sector is essential. As understanding your product and the operations behind the business will reflect your ability to coordinate and lead your team. Finally, an understanding of accounting basics, financial analysis will aid you in the finical reporting aspect to this role.
