Previous generalist recruitment and/or HR experience, particularly in the APS, will be well-regarded but is not essential. However, having a great attitude and wanting to contribute in a high-performing team is a must-have!
To be successful in this role you will:
- Be organised – there is a large volume of work and time management will be critical to your success
- Be resilient and exercise good judgment – there will always be work to do, you will need to differentiate between urgent and important tasks
- Be outcomes-focused – able to follow procedure, work under pressure and to tight timeframes. If you have ideas for efficiency improvements, even better!
- Have a can-do attitude – be able to navigate the inevitable bumps in the road and stay solutions-focused when they arise
